SalesTracker — Privacy Policy
SalesTracker is a business application used by employees of Techvein IT Solutions and its authorised partner organisations to record school visits, measure travel distance, and manage field expenses. It is not a consumer app: accounts are created by your employer's administrator, and the data the app records is processed on behalf of your employer for work purposes.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect: your advertising ID, contacts, messages, browsing history, or any data from other apps. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
2. Background location — prominent disclosure
SalesTracker collects location data in the background solely to measure the distance of a work trip you have explicitly started, so your travel reimbursement is calculated accurately even when the app is closed or not in use. A persistent notification is shown for the entire time tracking is active. Tracking stops — and your live position is deleted from our systems — as soon as the trip ends. Location is never collected when no visit or trip is active.

- Verifying that field visits took place (time, place, photo evidence)
- Calculating travel distance and reimbursement amounts
- Processing expense claims
- Showing your manager your live position only while a trip is active
- Team activity reports and summaries for your management chain
- Account security (single-device sign-in) and app troubleshooting
We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell personal data to anyone.
4. Who can see your data
Access follows your organisation's reporting hierarchy: you, your manager, your regional manager, and the company administrator. Other field staff cannot see your data.
5. Service providers (processors)
We use the following services to run the app. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
6. Retention
Work records (visits, distances, expenses) are retained as business and financial records for as long as your employer requires, including applicable tax-law retention periods. Live location is deleted the moment a trip ends. Photos may be removed on a scheduled retention cycle configured by the administrator.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal data, or to delete your personal data when you leave the organisation. On a deletion request we remove your account, identity details and photos; work records required for the company's financial books are retained in a form no longer linked to you. 8. Children
SalesTracker is a workplace tool for adults employed by the organisation. It is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes are announced inside the app.
